RULE BASED ART

Hello! welcome back to my fashion blog, this week I am posting some information about my second work, which is about "rule-based art".

Art created utilising one or more logic-based systems to direct the design and creation of the object. Their foundation may be mathematical, such as: those based on geometric and number theories.

How to create a Rule-based art?

* Use a rule-based process to generate a series of form.
* Explore the relationship between 2 and 3 dimensions.
* Investigate paper as a material and it behaviour.

The shape I chose was: CIRCLE

And these were my rules:

1. choose a shape: Circle
2.Add a small triangle
3.Add a square.
4.Add a fold.

1. Shape: Circle

2. Add a triangle.

3. Add a square.

4. Add a fold.

                                       5. Then just repeat the same process. Add a triangle.

6. Add another square.

7. Add another fold
